Evan Schnidman, Prattle Founder & CEO, Joins Helios Advisory Board

NEW YORK, May 21, 2021 - Pioneer in voice-based tonal analysis, Helios Life Enterprises, has selected Evan Schnidman, Founder and Managing Partner of EAS Innovation, to the company’s advisory board.

Evan is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with experience in data science and product strategy. The majority of Schnidman’s career has been focused on developing unique data products at the intersection of finance, economics, and artificial intelligence (AI).

At EAS Innovation, Evan provides data and innovation strategy consulting services, advising start-ups on business strategy and technology implementations. Evan's clients represent the most innovative technology solutions across finance, insurance, data science, and law.  Evan also works to support the startup ecosystem, serving as an advisor and/or angel investor for over 24 companies.

Prior to EAS, Evan built Prattle and served as Founder and CEO. Prattle’s proprietary natural language processing (NLP) software helped the team create the first truly comprehensive, unbiased metrics evaluating market-moving language from central banks and corporations. As CEO, Evan's responsibilities included product design, strategic partnership development, sales, investor management, and management across several teams (data science, quants, developers, salespeople, operations). Prattle was backed by GCM Grosvenor, NEA, Correlation Ventures, NeoTribe Ventures, Plug and Play Ventures, and several prominent angel investors. In June 2019 Prattle was acquired by Liquidnet.

Before moving onto EAS Innovation, Evan continued to run Prattle as a subsidiary of Liquidnet. During his tenure as CEO, Schnidman worked with buy-side clients, internal data scientists, and external data vendors to source and build novel datasets that could be used to enhance the investment decision process. Evan also spearheaded an effort to provide research automation technology to portfolio managers and analysts.

Evan A. Schnidman, Ph.D. is the founder and Managing Partner of EAS Innovation Consulting and was previously the founder and CEO of Prattle (acquired by Liquidnet), as well as the Head of Data Innovation at Liquidnet. Evan’s expertise in innovation has afforded him the opportunity to consult with C-suite executives at numerous large corporations.

Evan also serves as a board or advisory board member to a diverse set of startups across finance, insurance, law, and policy. Evan started his career as an academic; he earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University and served as faculty at Brown University.
